Grant Applications

Anyone who lives or works within the boundaries of the Spencer-Van Etten school district is eligible to apply for a Mini-grant (under $1,000), a Fellowship (for special individual study under $1,000; requires three individual references in support), or a Special Grant (over $1,000). The deadlines for submission are May 31 and October 31 of each year. The next grant deadline is May 31, 2010.

Grants are awarded to projects that help our community learn, dream, and create by promoting enthusiasm for learning, encouraging high aspirations, and supporting innovation, creativity, and vitality of our youth and community, particularly where creative approaches to learning have been hindered by limited resources. Applications for grants under $500 are encouraged to allow us to offer more grants to the community.
